.::Pretend like it's the Weekend::.

"Can't you see that its just raining? Ain't no need to go outside... but Baby, you hardly even notice when I try to show you this song is meant to keep ya from doing what your supposed to, like waking up too early. Maybe we can sleep in. I'll make you banana pancakes; pretend like its the weekend now. We could pretend it all the time..."

Day Seven

A Photo of Someone You Miss:
I decided to add two photos this time (so I could cover everybody) because the people I miss most are my mom, dad, and Mikie. Mom didn't post any photos of all four of us together, so I had to break it up a little... which was difficult since dad's eyes were closed in almost every picture. hahaha. Typical dad... and something I miss. So here are the pictures of the people I miss the most and can't wait to see again in June when Michael graduates from high school.

Day Five

A Photo that Makes You Laugh:I chose this photo because, although you can't see it, Denise, the barn owner just walked by with a bucket full of food. We'd been trying all day to get Dancer's ears forward in a picture and he finally did it... while paying attending to food. I, on the other hand, look ridiculous because I'm laughing that his ears finally went forward. Go figure, when I'm posed, Dancer looks bad. When Dancer is posed, I look bad. Typical. Idk, I thought this one was pretty funny.

Day Four

A Photo of a Place You'd Like to Visit:I have always wanted to go to Greece and Italy because I love love love Greek and Roman art. The rich history of these places is so fascinating to me, I'd love to experience it firsthand. This photo is of the Greek island of Santorini. I'd love to tour the Greek isles with their bone white buildings and royal blue roofs. I want to see Athens and the birthplace of the Olympics. I'd also love to visit Florence, Venice, and Rome. Although I've heard some not so nice things about visiting Greece, that can't dampen the magic of its art. One day...

Day Three

A photo that makes you happy:I chose this picture of Jason riding a horse during our sunset ride through Temecula this past summer because, even though his horse was a jerk, he grinned and took it for me. lol. I'm so happy I met Jason and that he wants me to be happy and is willing to sacrifice for things that I enjoy. I guess it's a good match since I'll ride along with him when he goes golfing... that way it all evens out in the end. hahaha

Day Two

A photo of yourself at least a year ago:

Here is a photo of me and Soul of the Matter (a racehorse sire in CA) taken in August of 2009. He was so sweet... I was feeding him a little peppermint. Fun fact about Soul - he came in second to Cigar in the Dubai World Cup. Cigar had the record for the most consecutive wins... until Zenyatta broke it last year.

Day One

Ok family... I don't have much time to post... but it doesn't take long to share some pictures with you guys and I thought this could be fun - so here it goes:

I've seen people doing this 30 day photo challenge on Facebook, and since I'm slowly trying to wean myself off of sharing my life on facebook, I figured I'd take my own photo challenge to my blog. (I don't want my life on facebook while I'm working at the prosecutor's office... so I may suspend my account over the summer, we'll see.)

Here is the challenge - you need to post one photo every day that fits the description given:
Day one: a photo of you.
Day two: a photo of yourself at least a year ago.
Day three: a photo that makes you happy.
Day four: a photo of a place you'd like to visit.
Day five: a photo that makes you laugh.
Day six: a photo of someone you love.
Day seven: a photo of someone you miss.
Day eight: a photo of your favorite band/musician.
Day nine: a photo of yourself when you were a baby/child.
Day ten: any photo you like for any reason.
Day eleven: a photo of a night you loved.
Day twelve: a photo of when you were happy.
Day thirteen: a photo of one of your favorite movies.
Day fourteen: a photo of your best friend (s).
Day fifteen: a photo of you and a family member.
Day sixteen: a photo from your childhood.
Day seventeen: a photo from a trip you'll never forget.
Day eighteen: a photo of your town.

Day nineteen: a photo of last summer.
Day twenty: a photo of something you ate today.
Day twenty-one: a photo of somebody you find attractive.
Day twenty-two: a photo that you associate a good memory with.
Day twenty-three: a photo of something you want to do someday.
Day twenty-four: a photo of what you want to be when you grow up.

Day twenty-five: a photo that inspires you.
Day twenty-six: a photo of your favorite subject in school.
Day twenty-seven: a photo of something you are looking forward to.
Day twenty-eight: a photo of something/somebody that made your day.
Day twenty-nine: a photo of your favorite person from history.
Day thirty: a photo you find beautiful.
Day One: a Photo of You
I chose this picture of me because, even though it's out of focus, I like that I'm laughing and goofing off. It was a candid shot taken while I visited Victoria, B.C. during my stay in the islands. It was a pretty care-free time where I was doing something I really loved, so I thought it'd be a good picture of me to post as it represents me at a fun time in my life (not that I'm not having fun now... but I'm def not so carefree.) Oh the joys of growing up.
