The way this day is worded makes my happiness seem like it's in the past tense... as if I'm not currently happy. I am happy, in fact, everything is going great. However, when I look back on a really happy time, I think of living on the island. So here's me on the island at Lime Kiln State Park during one of the island's beautiful sunsets. Thinking about it makes me smile. :)
This is a picture of me and Jason with his friends in Las Vegas - my first time ever! We had a great time staying in a big room in the Venetian and going out at a night club called Tao. (Speaking of the Venetian Hotel... my moot court partner is living in a guest house in the exclusive Malibu Colony across the street from the man who owns the Venetian. Tom Hanks and Jim Carey also live across the street from her. Pretty cool.)
I love this photo because I really like the look in Dancer's eyes when he's looking at me. I truly think he and I have a special bond and I think this photo encapsulates that bond between us. Love this one!
My mom holding me with my grandma and auntie Jen during her high school graduation. Yep... I'm a product of the '80s!
My favorite musician is Colbie Caillat. Her music reminds me of living on the island because I had her CD in my car and there weren't places on the island to buy new CDs... so I listened to her all summer. It's great summertime music! If you haven't listened to her, you should try her out.
