.::Pretend like it's the Weekend::.

"Can't you see that its just raining? Ain't no need to go outside... but Baby, you hardly even notice when I try to show you this song is meant to keep ya from doing what your supposed to, like waking up too early. Maybe we can sleep in. I'll make you banana pancakes; pretend like its the weekend now. We could pretend it all the time..."

Day Twenty-One

A Photo of Someone You Find Attractive:I'm pretty sure there's a correct answer to this question. So here he is: the guy I find attractive (this time I'm not talking about the horse).

Day Twenty

A Photo of Something You Ate Today:
I generally have Life cereal for breakfast... I guess I can't help it, being raised in the cereal city and all. P.S. Why is it that in all cereal commercials the milk is sitting at the bottom of the bowl? That's not how it works.

Day Nineteen

A Photo of Last Summer:Here's a pic of me with the whale statute in front of Lime Kiln State Park on San Juan Island. It was taken by friends I was visiting on the island in August, 2010. Yep... I think it's pretty clear I'm a whale hugger... or maybe even a whale kisser. lol

Day Eighteen

A Photo of Your Town:I don't really know what they're getting at with "a photo of your town." Does this mean my hometown? Current town? Permanent residence? Or a place you feel at home? I decided to put up a picture of Friday Harbor, WA, because of all the places I've lived: Lansing, Battle Creek, Allendale, Grand Rapids, Sun Valley, Irvine, Malibu, Anaheim, and Santa Monica - I think Friday Harbor most fits the description of "my town." It's small and doesn't have one stoplight, but everyone there is friendly and whale crazy. It's a cute little hippie-like community where people are concerned about the environment and aren't too interested in big city living. There's lots of outdoor stuff to do: boating, kayaking, riding mopeds around, going to the beach, scuba diving, and of course: whale watching. I love this town!

Day Seventeen

A Photo from a Trip you'll Never Forget:Here's a picture given to me by the Center of J47 with his mom, J35. (This is J28's younger sister and her nephew.) Pretty much any trip to the islands is one I'll never forget. I love the whales. I love the people. I love the scenery. If I could retire anywhere, I'd go there and bring the family along.

As an aside... I'm really not feeling well. Please keep me in your prayers as I have a lot of work to get done. Thanks! Love ya!

Day Sixteen

A Photo from Your Childhood:Me and Tuffy before our trail ride when I went to visit my family in Washington State around my eighth birthday... so July of 1994. Little did my parents know that 4 years later I'd have my very own horse (or maybe they knew all along and were just prolonging the inevitable)!

Day Fifteen

A Photo of You and a Family Member:This is one of my favorite pictures of me and my mom. It was taken during Labor Day weekend in 2008. I think we look quite a bit alike in this one, moreso than usual. It was a pretty fun trip... I look forward to having another mother/daughter trip again.
